I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience treating patients with a number of co-occurring disorders, as well as anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Before coming to Rivia Mind, I worked at a non-profit social service agency that provided recovery and mental health treatment.
I specialize in utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and elements of dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) to effectively address co-occurring disorders. Additionally, I am trained in motivational interviewing, which helps clients navigate challenges and make meaningful changes. My experience includes working with young adults, millennials, and individuals who feel stuck in their current phase of life, guiding them toward clarity and growth.
I am very passionate about mental healthcare, and I believe in treating patients as if they were a family member. In therapy, we go at the pace that’s most comfortable for you. My approach to care centers self-determination and a comprehensive inclusion of the whole person, including lifestyle changes. A focus on your individual strengths will be a big part of our sessions. I want all my patients to know that I am here to listen to them without judgment and that everyone deserves to have an opportunity to be the best version of themselves.
