I am a therapist specializing in working with individuals with a history of trauma, as well as those navigating anxiety, depression, and substance use challenges. My approach is grounded in evidence-based techniques, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic therapy. When appropriate, I also incorporate parts work to support deeper self-exploration and healing.
I’ve had the privilege of working with people across the lifespan — from very young children with developmental disorders to older adults facing loneliness. I’ve also worked with veterans and have a background in men’s issues. While my experience is broad, my primary focus has been on young and emerging adults, particularly those in their 20s navigating life transitions. I also have experience supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as individuals and couples working through relationship challenges.
My work in clinical research on addiction treatment deepened my understanding of substance use and fueled my passion for this field. I also had the rewarding opportunity to intern at a men’s residential addiction treatment facility, where I built meaningful relationships and earned the trust of individuals impacted by various systems. My approach to care is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that everyone deserves access to the support they need. Through both personal and professional experiences, I’ve witnessed firsthand the impact of mental health challenges — and the importance of investing in emotional well-being. I’ve always been drawn to psychology, and the more experience I gain, the more I see how critical it is to prioritize mental health and the need for mental health systems to continue evolving.
