In every session, I take a whole-person approach — one that considers not just symptoms, but also your lifestyle, relationships, past experiences, and identity. I’ve worked in both community health and telehealth settings, including a clinic specializing in the treatment of HIV. There, I had the opportunity to support transgender patients seeking preoperative psychiatric evaluations for gender-affirming surgery — work I found deeply meaningful. More recently, I’ve seen how telehealth can expand access to care for people who might otherwise go without support, and I continue to value its reach.
I have experience treating a wide range of conditions, including major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, eating disorders, and PTSD. I’m especially passionate about women’s mental health — including care throughout pregnancy — and have worked closely with LGBTQIA+ clients and young adults. I take care to understand how biology, emotional wellbeing, life experiences, and social context all interact to shape how someone is feeling. When appropriate, I also incorporate holistic tools like herbal supplements, mindfulness, and meditation.
My goal is to create a space where clients feel genuinely understood — where they don’t have to separate their emotional wellbeing from the rest of their lives. That means paying attention to diet, movement, medical history, socioeconomic stressors, interests, and trauma, all of which can play a role in mental health. I approach care with kindness, gentleness, and sensitivity, and tailor each treatment plan to reflect the individual in front of me.
