Nursing care is an art and a science, requiring both technical expertise and deep human understanding. With compassion and a person-centered approach, I work closely with my patients to develop plans that honor who you are and what you envision for your life.
I learned a great deal working at federally qualified health centers, where I met people of all backgrounds and ages, each facing different challenges. In a healthcare system that can be difficult to navigate, I was honored to contribute to equity by increasing access to mental health support while encouraging individuals to reach their full potential.
I’m passionate about working with those experiencing intergenerational trauma, particularly in immigrant communities. I’ve seen how powerful it can be when people feel truly heard and understood, and when they learn more about what they’re encountering during their healing process.
I’ve worked with patients dealing with persistent depression and bipolar disorder, and it’s been rewarding to see them flourish through tailored combinations of medication management and holistic treatment that include approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness. I particularly enjoy working with young adults and college students, and I’ve recently had the opportunity to work with people with disabilities.
