I approach therapy as a collaborative process rooted in curiosity, reflection, and trust. I believe meaningful change begins when people feel safe enough to explore how their past experiences shape their present lives — and empowered enough to decide where they want to go next. In our work together, my goal is to offer steady support while honoring you as the expert on your own story.
Earlier in my training and career, I worked in settings that deepened my understanding of trauma and identity across the lifespan. I gained specialized experience supporting adoptees and adoptive families. I later worked in a clinical environment focused on trauma treatment, where I supported patients through deep healing work.
I support children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, trauma-related concerns, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). My work with adults often includes life-stage transitions, parenting challenges, and navigating complex family or relationship dynamics. I also have experience working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism.
My clinical approach is psychodynamic and person-centered, integrating talk therapy with creative and evidence-based modalities. In addition to traditional psychotherapy, I am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), which supports patients in processing traumatic memories and reducing distress. I am also a drama therapist and often incorporate metaphor, story, and role-play as ways to explore identity and shift perspective. This approach is flexible and collaborative — patients shape the work in ways that feel accessible, meaningful, and aligned with their needs.
Therapy can be challenging, and discomfort is often part of growth — but you don’t have to hold that discomfort alone. I value open dialogue about what feels helpful and what doesn’t, and I see feedback as an essential part of personalized care. Trust is something I work to earn, not assume. I’m also deeply committed to collaboration — supporting patients in building connection and community when it feels right. Above all, I strive to offer a thoughtful, respectful partnership as you navigate change at your own pace.
