I am a therapist who has facilitated dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) groups for both children and adults, as well as treating patients with eating disorders and other high-risk mental health challenges.
I have worked at Hawthorne Cedar Knolls, working with troubled youth at a residential center. I gained invaluable experience communicating authentically with young patients and managing emotions in high-pressure environments. Following this, I worked at Westchester Medical Center, where I gained effective skills for working with high-risk clients at various stages of life. Throughout my career, I have cultivated a deep commitment to helping my patients navigate their personal challenges while fostering growth and resilience.
In addition to DBT, I am proficient in using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to support patients struggling with eating disorders. I genuinely care about the well-being of others and find joy in providing resources and helping people find their strength, even after negative experiences. I have seen the way mental health treatments can save lives simply by allowing patients to feel seen and cared for. This is what I strive to offer to my patients. My hope is for patients to enter the space feeling both supported and safe.
My approach to therapy is to meet clients where they are. As an empathetic and active listener, I genuinely want to understand my patients’ struggles and get to know them.
