I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience in treating anxiety, depression, sleep problems, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and adjustment challenges — especially in veterans and first responders.
I have worked with the U.S. Army, treating its patient population and the unique challenges they face. I also combined research and clinical service provision at Columbia University.
I have treated anxiety, depression, sleep-related problems, adjustment challenges, PTSD, grief and loss, life transition, relationship issues and personal transformation. I have worked with active duty military, first responders, and young adults. I am passionate about treating veteran and first responder patients and helping people adjust to new life transitions.
I received my advanced nursing specialization in psychiatry degree after working in the social work field. I value the importance of treating the whole person and strongly believe that access to psychiatric treatment should be available to all individuals.
