I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to empowering individuals and couples to navigate life’s challenges and reach their full potential. I earned my master’s degree in social work from the College of Staten Island, building on a bachelor’s degree in psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
I specialize in working with individuals and couples facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, mood disorders, dating and relationship issues, low self-esteem, childhood trauma, adjustment disorders, substance use disorder, alcohol use disorder, and stress management. Using a client-centered approach, I collaborate with my clients to explore their goals and develop personalized strategies to overcome obstacles and achieve fulfillment.
With a non-judgmental and supportive approach, I strive to create an environment that fosters personal growth and positive change. I strongly believe in tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs, avoiding a one-size-fits-all approach.
As an integrative therapist, I draw from a wide range of treatment modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, motivational interviewing, strengths-based therapy, supportive psychotherapy, and psychodynamic therapy. My experience spans various treatment settings, such as inpatient psychiatric units, private practices, substance abuse outpatient clinics, medication-assisted treatment facilities, and nursing homes.
