I deeply believe in the transformative power of psychotherapy and personalized medication management to foster happiness and fulfillment. Walking the path to mental wellness is profoundly personal, and I’m dedicated to guiding and supporting my clients on this journey. Through a therapeutic approach rooted in respect and active listening, I work collaboratively to develop treatment plans tailored to each person’s unique needs and preferences.
Earlier in my career, I honed my skills on a high-acuity psychosis unit at an inpatient psychiatric hospital. There, I learned invaluable lessons in therapeutic communication, de-escalation techniques, and crisis intervention. I’ve also supported clients in navigating new mental health diagnoses and in reassessing whether their current diagnoses or medication approaches remain the right fit for their evolving needs.
I work with a broad spectrum of concerns, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD (both pediatric and adult), women’s mental health — particularly Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder — complex PTSD, identity exploration, and emotional challenges during life transitions. My psychotherapy approach is integrative, incorporating diverse modalities, with particular expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing. I’ve successfully provided culturally responsive and trauma-informed care for young adults, LGBTQ+ individuals, trauma survivors, and BIPOC communities.
