My approach is warm, collaborative, and personalized. I aim to balance practical support with deeper insight, combining therapy-informed dialogue with thoughtful medication management when appropriate. Above all, I want care to feel grounded, human, and meaningful.
At Northwell, I worked in an outpatient cardiology clinic and appreciated how much time we spent on education and long-term support. It was significant to help people understand their heart health and be part of a team focused on building trust and supporting lifestyle changes, not just writing prescriptions. At Sol, I provided therapy-integrated psychiatric aid in a trauma-informed setting, where I had the gratifying flexibility to curate support around each patient’s unique needs.
I’ve worked with adults and high-functioning professionals grappling with anxiety, perfectionism, depression, trauma-related conditions, and major life transitions. Many of the people I see are navigating grief, burnout, or identity shifts, and I partner with those uncertain about medication or who want to revisit their current regimen. In sessions, I blend evidence-based psychiatric care with tools from CBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed therapy to explore thought patterns, goal-setting, and behavior change. I also have training in deprescribing and can help simplify medications safely when it’s the right step.
I have experience supporting individuals with complex trauma histories — including veterans and members of the LGBTQ+ community — through challenging transitions. I hope to create a space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, needs, and goals, and where treatment feels like a conversation, not a checklist.
