Joji is an ANCC board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a master’s degree in science and a doctorate in nursing practice. She received her master’s degree from Molloy College, New York, in August 2019 and her doctorate in nursing practice from Chatham University in Pittsburg in April 2022. Since graduating, she has worked as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in an inpatient psychiatric setting. She has a wide range of experience working with patients with depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, PTSD, psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorders, substance use, and bipolar disorders. She also worked with patients receiving ECT treatments to manage treatment-resistant depression and other severe psychiatric conditions. As a result, she has gained considerable skills and abilities that have molded her into an effective practitioner.

It has been Joji’s passion to work in psychiatric nursing since her school years due to the ongoing stigma in the field. Her motivations are rooted in the skills that she has obtained from her exceptional training and work history, which she gladly will offer to those in need. Joji continues to promote mental health awareness to eradicate this illness’s stigma. She also believes the therapeutic alliance is essential for the patient’s compliance with treatment plans.
