My path as a therapist has been shaped by the privilege of witnessing people navigate their unique journeys — from moments of uncertainty to milestones of growth. I find deep meaning in helping patients build self-awareness, strengthen resilience, and develop practical skills to navigate life’s challenges. For me, therapy is most rewarding when it fosters insight, empowerment, and authentic connection.
Earlier in my career, I worked in community mental health, providing individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. I found it especially meaningful to support patients through a range of life experiences — from graduating high school to starting new chapters in their personal lives. I have also worked with individuals across diverse identities, including LGBTQ+ individuals, single parents, and formerly incarcerated individuals, which has strengthened my appreciation for the complexity of each person’s lived experience.
I treat a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, interpersonal difficulties, and stress. My approach is relational and person-centered, grounded in authenticity, collaboration, and empathy. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness to help patients build insight and skills that align with their values and goals.
I am particularly passionate about representation and accessibility in mental healthcare. As an Asian-American, I grew up in a community that stigmatized mental health and have personally seen the barriers many individuals face when trying to access proper care. This drives me to create an inclusive, understanding, and supportive space where patients from all backgrounds feel welcome and empowered to engage in therapy, and make meaningful progress in their relationships, work, and daily lives.
