Mishela is an ANCC board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and AANP certified family nurse practitioner. She received her bachelor’s in psychology and nursing from the University of Miami, master’s in nursing as a family nurse practitioner from St. Thomas University in Miami, FL; and post-masters psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certificate from Florida State University. 

Mishela’s experience includes work in residential eating disorder treatment centers, sexual and reproductive health, women’s health and co-existing mental health disorders. Mishela emphasizes creating a safe and supportive environment tailored to each individual. She prioritizes a holistic, non-judgmental, and collaborative approach to treatment integrating individual biopsychosocial needs, lifestyle change, therapy and medication management.
