I am a therapist with experience treating a range of mental health challenges across diverse populations. Previously, I worked as a university counselor, supporting students as they navigated the transition to college and guiding them in identifying their goals and values.
I have experience treating anxiety, depression, personality disorders, self-harming behaviors, life transitions and self-confidence issues. I have worked with adults, LGBTQ+ individuals, BIPOC populations, seniors, therapists, and college students. My therapeutic approach incorporates modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and mindfulness techniques.
I am deeply passionate about improving access to mental healthcare for those who need it. My nonjudgmental approach focuses on helping clients assess their behaviors and develop life goals. By building tangible skills for introspection, I aim to help clients fully understand their diagnosis without being weighed down by shame or guilt.
Mindfulness is a cornerstone of my therapy approach. I often encourage patients to slow down and notice behaviors, sensations, and feelings that might be overlooked in the rush of daily life. Together, we explore these experiences to foster greater self-awareness and understanding.
