My clinical experience includes time in inpatient psychiatry and outpatient addiction medicine across hospital-based and community behavioral health settings. I found this work deeply rewarding, particularly the opportunity to connect with people and support them in their recovery. Being part of that process has been an honor and continues to bring meaning to my practice.
I have partnered extensively with individuals struggling with substance use, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, depression, and anxiety. In my work with addiction, I use motivational interviewing to support patients in identifying when they feel ready for change and developing tools that can help them move forward.
It’s been my privilege to work with people from varied backgrounds and life experiences, including young adults, older adults, Native Americans, veterans, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. This breadth of experience has shaped my respect for the many ways mental health concerns show up across cultures, identities, and stages of life.
