Before joining Rivia Mind, I worked as an Advanced Clinical Fellow, where I built a versatile toolbox for supporting clients through challenges and victories alike. What I found most meaningful was helping my patients create their own set of therapeutic tools — acting not just as a guide through difficult moments, but also as their biggest cheerleader. That experience opened my eyes to the power of tailoring treatment using a range of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based interventions. I especially appreciate the flexibility to bring creativity into sessions, through workbooks and activities as well. That foundation has shaped my commitment to providing personalized care tailored to each individual’s strengths and lived experience.
I’ve supported adults and college students navigating anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem struggles, and pivotal life transitions that can feel like everything has turned upside down. I have also supported those managing the impact of chronic illness — including Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), obesity, and chronic fatigue — as well as patients processing addiction within their family systems. My experience also includes working with unique presentations of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), and I welcome partnering with patients across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum. I approach every relationship with deep respect for each person’s identity and the specific challenges they carry.
My sessions are conversational, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe in building a space where your voice is heard, and your care feels safe, personal, and supportive. I’ll draw from a range of evidence-based strategies to support you — adjusting our approach as needed, so you feel heard and empowered throughout this journey.
