Some of the most important lessons I’ve learned as a therapist have come from the people and spaces that shaped me. My graduate school placement with Asian Americans for Equality has taught me that diversity, mentorship, and a shared sense of humor can create a genuinely supportive team. It was in that environment, facing my own imposter syndrome with the help of colleagues and a supervisor whose encouragement never failed, that I learned how powerful it can be to meet uncertainty with curiosity and care.
Later, in a psychedelic-assisted therapy clinic, I worked alongside high-risk clients in moments of deep transformation. There, I witnessed firsthand how healing can happen in unexpected ways and how hope can exist alongside intensity. I hold a certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and bring this expertise to help those who may be considering or exploring alternative paths to wellness.
I believe therapy should be as unique as the person sitting across from me, so I integrate multiple modalities — including mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) — to create something that feels personalized and effective. My experience is rooted in supporting clients with childhood trauma, attachment wounds, complex relational dynamics, Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, major depression, and treatment-resistant concerns. I am especially passionate about working with first-generation immigrants, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those exploring nontraditional approaches.
I bring a culturally aware, kink-aware, and LGBTQ+ affirming perspective to my work. I value warmth, flexibility, and a dash of humor in sessions, while also honoring the depth and complexity of each client’s process. My goal is to create a space that is safe and brave, where you can show up fully, know your story matters, and explore growth on your terms.
