DIALECTICAL BEHAVIOR THERAPY GROUP

Our next DBT Group is open for enrollment! See details below.

We are excited to introduce our Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Group. Our DBT Group is an evidence-based group psychotherapy designed for individuals grappling with intense emotions. We offer a comprehensive DBT program divided into four key modules. Each module focuses on developing specific skills to help participants lead more balanced and fulfilling lives. Current patients are welcome to participate in one or all modules. Patients who complete all four modules are awarded a certificate of completion.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy

DBT focuses on fostering acceptance of life realities and personal behaviors, while equipping participants with skills to modify ineffective coping mechanisms. The overarching goal is to empower individuals in managing negative emotions and addressing challenging symptoms, including self-harm.

Studies indicate that DBT can help with the following:

  • Improve your personal and professional relationships.
  • Improve your overall quality of life.
  • Help lower the arousal state with specific, often simple techniques.
  • Help regulate your emotions to put those feelings into words.
