As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I take a holistic approach that combines therapy, medication management (when appropriate), and whole-person wellness. I believe deeply in patient education — every person deserves to understand their treatment options and feel empowered to make informed decisions about their care. If someone is on medication, I want to ensure it’s the right fit and help them come off anything that isn’t working or is causing side effects.
Before joining Rivia Mind, I spent five years in an outpatient setting, where I built long-term therapeutic relationships and supported patients in achieving their goals. It was incredibly meaningful to witness their self-growth over time. I also valued collaborating with a team of therapists and clinicians — a spirit that continues to shape how I practice today.
I’ve worked with people across the lifespan — from young adults I saw while practicing on a college campus to older adults navigating complex transitions. Across every stage, my virtual office is a safe space for everyone, regardless of background. Clinically, I focus on psychiatric evaluations and medication management for bipolar disorder, anxiety, and depression. I bring additional training in CBT and DBT, as well as nurse coaching, which uses motivational interviewing, goal setting, and behavior change tools to support health goals. With a background in yoga and mindfulness, I often incorporate meditation and grounding techniques, especially for anxiety and focus.
