I am the co-founder and CEO of Rivia Mind where I am a clinical supervisor, group manager, and educator for all clinicians in the practice, helping ensure excellent care and quality customer service.
I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from MIT with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. I then pursued a medical education at Columbia University, where I earned my M.D. and a Masters in Public Health (M.P.H.), focusing on healthcare policy and management. I completed my residency training in Psychiatry at the Weill Cornell Medical Center / New York Presbyterian Hospital, followed by a research and clinical fellowship in forensic psychiatry at Columbia University. I also have extensive training in psychodynamic psychotherapy from Columbia University.
My interests include human emotions, free will, ethics and policy in mental health, and innovation in healthcare. I am passionate about the role of psychotherapy in mental health, including CBT, humanistic, and psychodynamic approaches. I have also published articles and book chapters, and regularly speak at leading
industry conferences.
