The News of November – At Rivia Mind

Let’s dive into the news of November here at Rivia Mind.

November has been a big month for Rivia Mind. We’ve had a chance to expand our services, take part in new events, and welcome new members to our team. And all of this has, of course, helped us to do what we do best: support our patients and community on the journey towards mental wellness. Let’s dive into the news of November here at Rivia Mind.

Expanding Our Services

Our home base has been in New York since the inception of Rivia Mind, but we’ve expanded our services through satellite offices providing telehealth throughout the east coast. We also serve New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida. Recently, we expanded our services even further to include Massachusetts. We’re excited for the opportunity to provide our usual high quality of mental health support to a new group of patients.

We’re always interested in adding more satellite offices and expanding our service areas. If you would like to have access to Rivia Mind in your state, share your location with us. When we start services in your area, we’ll let you know!

We’ve also recently expanded our business hours. Our main office and satellite offices are now open from Monday-Friday from 8am-8pm, as well as Saturdays from 9-5pm.

Recent Rivia Mind Events

strive to thrive eventOctober was a big month for Rivia Mind in terms of events. In early October, our relationship coordinator Chase Bridgers represented us at Strive to Thrive at the Stevens Institute of Technology. There he was able to meet with students and network with other organizations that are like Rivia Mind in their dedication to mental health support.

Chase at NYSCHAChase, along with our senior director of relationship management Joe Ryan, also attended the NYSCHA/NECHA 2023 Combined Annual Meeting. The New York State College Health Association and New England College Health Association are near and dear to us, as we strive to improve the mental health and well-being of college students. Chase and Joe enjoyed attending the event and getting a chance to talk about mental health support for college students.

Dana and Joe at AUCCCDTowards the end of the month, Chase, Joe, and CEO/Co-founder Dana Wang, MD all visited the AUCCCD Annual Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. This was hosted by the Association for University and College Counseling Center Directors, so the focus was again on the mental health and wellbeing of college students. There, Rivia Mind was able to share how we can help to support colleges amidst mental health crises.

Currently, we are in Phoenix, AZ for the Behavioral Health Tech Conference hosted by Going Digital Health. If you’re there for the conference, we hope you’ll say hello. If not, we look forward to telling you all about it next month.
