It’s time to welcome spring, and with it the longer, sunnier days. As winter thaws, many of us are beginning to come out of our seasonal slumps. Rivia Mind has been hard at work to help our patients and our community, too. Let’s dive into our news for March.
Sleep Awareness Week
Last week was Sleep Awareness Week. A healthy sleep schedule is absolutely crucial to your mental, emotional, and physical health. Too little sleep can lower your emotional resilience and focus, and it can make you more sensitive or agitated. It may also make your sleep schedule increasingly irregular and difficult to correct. When you deprive yourself of sleep you may fall into “sleep debt” that would need to be recovered at odd areas or for a long period of time.
Most adults need 7-9 hours of sleep each night. This spring, figure out a sleep schedule that works for you, and learn more about the importance of sleep with Rivia Mind. Explore our recent blogs about sleep, as well as a list of our skilled and compassionate clinicians who specialize in sleep disorders.

Are You Addicted To Your Phone? A New Quiz
Our phones can be a great way to connect us with each other and with the rest of the world, but there’s no question that there are downsides. With so much information at your fingertips, it can be hard to look away — and easy to become overwhelmed or dependent. The average American checks their smartphone as much as 352 times per day, and 47% of Americans admit to being addicted to their phones. Are you? You can gain insights into your relationship with your cell phone with our new quiz.
